Physician Quality Reporting System

The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) provides incentives for physicians who participate in the Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) by increasing their Medicare reimbursement for the reporting of specific quality measures. These measures, as well as the reporting mechanisms and registries, are analyzed and updated annually to ensure that the nation’s healthcare system is benefiting from an increasingly efficient and effective PQRS program.

2011 Pulse Complete EHR and PulsePro Practice Management allow physicians to capture pertinent quality data during routine documentation making it easier to qualify and submit for PQRS incentives. In addition Pulse is a qualified registry, allowing eligible professionals using the 2011 Pulse Complete EHR or PulsePro Practice Management solutions to collect and report on all allowable PQRS measures. This can increase your practice’s total allowed Medicare Part B reimbursement for covered professional services by one percent (1%) and contribute to the bottom line without adding overhead to your practice.

Physicians who wish to submit for PQRS incentives may do so via Pulse Customer Care by signing up for our PQRS support services. Contact Pulse today at 800-444-0882 or email us at PQRS@pulseinc.com with your questions.
